Greatest Place on Earth

Jackson Hole, Wyoming is one of the most beautiful places on the face of the earth.(our baby is named after this place) The beauty of nature there is immeasurable. We have been very fortunate over the years to stay at a beautiful cabin at the base of the Teton mountain range. The photo above is a view from the back porch. Imagine waking up to that every morning.

The wildlife is amazing also. We have often seen many different types of animals, but this visit was special, we saw our first bear. He was only about 30 feet from the road grazing on some grasses.

John and I took the kids for a walk down to the river near the cabin, and we saw 2 moose.(a bull and cow) Now we have seen moose in the past, but this time they were really close, and heading in our direction. They wanted to come to the river, but we were blocking their path across a little log bridge. They were kind enough to allow us to pass, and we watched them from a respectable distance.(about 20 feet) We have never been so close to the animals. It was a great treat.

"Big bumps"
Every time we go to Jackson, we take the "bump on the log" photo's. This log is on the slope near the swimmin' hole. It is our family tradition.

"Little bumps"

If I could choose any place in the world to live, this would be it! I love Jackson Hole, and will always remember the wonderful times spent there.

Wow! We're actually in Salt Lake, getting ready to go up to Jackson Hole on Friday! I've been once, and have been really wanting to go back! I guess we will have just missed you! (after seeing your pictures though I'm even more excited)
