1st haircut

before it is all cut

after shot

Jackson had his first haircut this week. He was starting to look a little shaggy, and he was growing a baby mullet. I always procrastinate on the first haircut, because it means that my baby is growing up, and sure enough he looks like a little boy now. I am not the best hairdresser, so it isn't the best cut ever, but it turned out ok. He is so cute!(don't you love the little bruise on his forehead, the signature of toddlerhood.)

Ham and Cheese

Jackson has realized that we smile for the camera. He is starting to become a little ham, and really play it up. This day we were learning to say cheese for the camera. Don't you just love the grin!

Its BBQ Time

It's that wonderful time of year again when the Grahams start their outdoor festivities. We love to have BBQ's and get-togethers. We have a great huge backyard that is ideal for outdoor games, and we have a firepit in the back that we love to use for roasting smores. This was the 1st of many for the season. We plan to have many more outings this year. Come on over and join us!

Mothers Day Joy

These are the reasons I get to enjoy Mothers Day. These three special gifts that I have in my life. Each one comes with their own personality, quirks, and challenges. Each one brings their own joys, and issues. But I wouldn't trade a single one of them for anything else in the world. I can't imagine my life without these special people in my life. They are my world, and I thank my wonderful husband for giving me these gifts and making me their mother.
Happy Mothers Day to all of you mothers out there, enjoy your gifts too.

Budding Artist

Mackenzie recently had artwork that was shown at a district wide art show at the high school. She excels in art!! That same night the Orchestra students had a performance, and JT played his viola. It was a great night for the kids.

Jackson Enjoyed it too!!

Lego Birthday

This week we had a birthday party for JT. Can you believe that he is going to be 10 this week. The party was a Lego theme.
We went through all of JT's Lego's, he had a 24 gallon bucket overflowing with them. All of which were purchased at yard sales and such. We put all like pieces together in separate bins and gave each boy a bag of specialty pieces, then they could use whatever else, and we had a ship building contest. It was fun to see each of their little creative minds put together unique ships.

The hair was a one day special, for the party only. JT would have liked to keep the mohawk longer, but I just couldn't do it. I did let him keep it just i level higher on the razor, but you can barely notice it.

I tried to make a cake that looked like a stack of Lego's. It turned out ok, could have been better, but it tasted good. The kids also played Lego Star Wars video game, and all of the gifts were Lego oriented. All the kids went home with their ships, and the Lego's they used. It was good fun for all!
