My Musical genius!!

Jackson playing the electronic drum set!

Bronze Award

Last year Kenzie's girl scout troop worked hard on earning their Bronze awards. They did a lot of community service and put together a small garden area in a local park. They recently had their ceremony, and were awarded their awards from the local ladies VFW group. It was a big deal for them, and they were all really proud of themselves.

Farm Show Fun

A couple of weeks age we attended the Pennsylvania Farm Show. This is a BIG event here in our area. Basically it is a fair with a ton of farm animals, and all aspects of farm life. It was quite an event! Tons of people.
We saw a lot of different animals. Jackson pet a lot too, and he promptly stuck his fingers up this cows nostril. I know, gross!! To make it worse, he sucked on his fingers the rest of the day without them being properly washed.
This is the famous butter sculpture. Every year they have a different one, all made out of butter.
We saw a lot of Alpacas.
JT wanted to "pet a cow, hug a sheep, and poke a pig" I think he did all three.
I think the kids all enjoyed it. Don't they look thrilled?

Family Photo's

Isn't that just the cutest family you have ever seen?! Well I think so! This is the first real family photo we have had taken since Jackson was born. We had them taken by a young lady in our ward when she was home for the holidays from college. She is really quite talented.

Jackson wasn't very cooperative that day, so there aren't too many of him.

Both Kenzie and JT's photo's look great!

I wish Jackson was in the above photo, but he was being difficult!
And of course we had to have a picture of Nana too!!

It was fun having them taken at home. A lot of them were taken on the bean bags and the rest out in the yard. I would like to post them all, but I think 92 photos is a little excessive!!

My new fabulous bag!

Today I made this little beauty just for me!! After making bags for other people, I decided it was my turn. I am very pleased!! It is gorgeous!

It has 2 outside pockets, and long enough straps to put over your shoulder. (forgive the photo's taken in poor lighting)
If you look on the side of the pocket you can kind of see my steffistuff label
The inside lined bag has a drawstring to close it up, and 3 pockets on the interior.
The best part is that the drawstring liner is removable!! That means I can use the liner for baby friendly activities, and carry around diapers, toys etc. Then if I ever get a day out baby free, I can remove the liner, and just take the bag part, and I don't need to transfer everything!!
It turned out great! I must brag a little and say that my sewing skills have greatly improved, because this is Fabulous!!
These photo's just don't do it justice. It truly is beautiful! I enjoyed making it too! If you want one, let me know, I'll make another!!
